WHAT IS DEKTON?
Dekton is a sophisticated blend of the raw materials used to manufacture glass, the latest generations of ceramic and quartz surfaces.
All components are melted at over 1000ºC and passed through a 25,000 ton press. The result is a surface with extraordinary properties.
High scratch resistance. It is a surface with high scratch resistance. It does not scratch with household utensils.
Stain resistance. Due to its low porosity, it is a highly resistant surface, both to occasional stains in domestic use and to chemical agents.
Non-porous material. By nature, it is able to repel liquids and gases from penetrating the surface. In this way, surface maintenance is minimal and easier to clean.
High resistance to fire and heat. Without affecting its aesthetic and properties.
High UV resistance. Dekton is highly resistant to ultraviolet (UV) rays and its colour does not degrade over time.

CARES AND CLEANING
For regular cleaning, Cosentino recommends the use of Q-Action together with a sponge or soft fiber cloth. If this product is not available, the best option is to use water and neutral soap.
Avoid cutting directly on the surface with ceramic knives, as they are materials of similar hardness. For Dekton Xgloss avoid cutting directly on the surface.
Although Dekton is a highly resistant surface, avoid impacts in the most exposed areas (corners, edges, bevels, etc).
